Eastern Creek International Kart Raceway is unquestionably Australia’s finest karting facility. We have run our ‘Challenge The Champ’ event here for a number of years and it is a favourite with our FPV owners. In the eyes of many of our owners – they actually think they can beat the master – but they realise its not so easy, he can actually drive a kart as well. JB said, “Eastern Creek Kart Raceway is similar to many sweeping road circuits in Europe with its full noise flowing corners – it’s really quite technical, what a blast. For the Sinclair Ford FPV crew it’s their version of the world championship and the bragging rights that go with it. I raced with the owners of Eastern Creek Kart Raceway – Garry Holt, we won the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2010 with Paul Morris in Holtie’s BMW 335i. He’s a real racer and he certainly knows his stuff, I love racing here, the circuit is awesome and our days here are always fantastic. Wakefield Park Circuit has always been our choice for our annual ‘Sinclair Ford FPV Advantage Track Day’ Its no secret JB has a huge influence in our event planning and our Wakefield Park event is significant for that fact. When JB first raised the potential of exposing our guys to a track day – his first choice was Wakefield Park, his reasoning was really simple. Wakefield Park is 2.2ks round and only has a fence along pit lane, that means the rest of the field is open space, no tyre walls, barriers or anthing else that doesn’t like FPV’s. Since 2006 we with the support of John Bowe and John Bowe Driving (Cuffie and Terry Bowe) we have conducted our track days much to the delight of all attendees – they all come away with a better appreciation of the FPV and are in no doubt of JB talent (he still hold a sub 60 sec lap record). Muscle Car Masters – is the biggest and best Muscle car event on the Australian motorsport calendar. If you love your Muscle Cars – this is your event. It’s one of the biggest crowds ever drawn to The Creek. The machinery is Muscle Car heaven and covers a range of categories including Group A (which is where V8 Supercars morphed from) – so if you like, it’s like an Australian Motorsport history lesson. For many of us it takes us back to our boyhood memories of the great racers of our youth with the current crop of modern day Legends including Jimmy Richards, Glen Seton and our very own John Bowe. www.Towie.com – is almost family to our FPV Advantage members. Not only is day an FPV Advantage member himself, but he is a vital component in the delivery of the best ownership experience. Danny Whittaker is a local fella who understands the commitment we have for our owners, he is an extension of us at a time of need. The www.towie.com fleet now has three trucks including two tilt trays and a GS utility (nice car mate). Anyone who has had Danny arrive are very pleased to see his happy, helpful, smiling face. He understands and will do his best to take the pain away. Many of our members have prevailed on Danny to move the show or race car.
